Monica Zurowski named new editor-in-chief of Postmedia Calgary

Postmedia Calgary appointed a new editor-in-chief Thursday, naming Monica Zurowski to the newsroom’s top post.

Zurowski has taken on a variety of editor and reporting roles at Postmedia Calgary (Calgary Herald and Calgary Sun) since starting at the Herald as a summer student in 1986.

“The changes we’ve seen in this city and in the field of journalism over these past three-plus decades are tremendous,” Zurowski said.
