Calgary police arrest man for carjacking who'd been released from custody 16 hours earlier
However, police have not recovered the woman's vehicle
by Postmedia Calgary · Calgary HeraldA Calgary woman had her car stolen this month by a man who’d been released from custody less than a day before the incident and was breaking his release conditions, Calgary police said on Thursday as it sought help finding the vehicle.
The incident happened on Sept. 8 when the woman and her son were leaving a KidStrong facility, a physical activity program for children, on Macleod Trail and getting into their car when an unknown man tried to steal the vehicle.
