Moment tourist wearing boxers tries to fend off seven police officers

A bald Russian tourist fought seven police officers in Thailand wearing only his underwear. 

The shocking video, which has been posted to X formerly Twitter, reports to show a Russian tourist in the popular Thai resort town of Phuket.

However, rather than enjoying the areas sun-kissed beaches or tropical climate this man appears to be more interested in picking a fight with the local police.

In the footage, a man wearing just his boxers can be seen being escorted by a Thai police officer along a quiet shopping street.

A woman and children - who appear to be with the man - can be seen walking behind him with one child wailing uncontrollably.

Chaos then ensues when the man lashes out at the officers and starts screaming. 

A group of officers attempt to restrain him but the man overpowers them and starts to back away as his family can be heard sobbing in distress in the background. 

He then squares up against the police officers as he throws shadow punches the men and throws his legs up in the air as if he is attempting to intimidate the cops. 

Suddenly the holidaymaker launches himself at the police with one officers reaching for his police baton though he does not it.

They struggle to bring the much larger man under control. One desperate police officer even jumps on his back before the barefoot Russian chucks him on the floor. 

Dramatically, he then starts running at pace towards a lone law enforcer who proceeds to run off in the other direction.

It is at this point the video abruptly ends as the woman rushes towards the man.

The chaotic video has gone viral online gathering over 200,000 views on X. 

One social media user remarked that the scene looked like it was 'straight out of an 80s action movie.' 

On X, Conor Linden wrote: 'Just going out for a few here love Promise be home before nine.'
