Man in his 30s dies after falling down the stairs of double-decker bus

He suffered serious injuries in the freak accident near Westgate shopping centre on October 26.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Thames Valley Police and the South Central Ambulance Service were all called to the incident with the man being rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on October 31.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said that an investigation has been launched and that specially trained family liaison officers were supporting the man's family.
They said: 'Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
'The man's death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the Oxfordshire Coroner.'
Oxford Bus Company confirmed it is assisting the police force in their investigation and offered their condolences to the family and friends of the man who died.
A spokesman said: 'Our thoughts and condolences are with the deceased's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
'We are continuing to assist Thames Valley Police with their inquiries into this tragic incident and are providing wellbeing support to our driver.'
The bus company previously said it provided CCTV footage of the incident to the police and that nobody else was involved.
'A passenger on board one of our vehicles received emergency medical treatment after an incident in which no-one else was involved.
'Following medical assistance on the vehicle in Oxford the passenger was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by ambulance.
'We are assisting the emergency services with their inquiries and have given CCTV footage to the police. Our thoughts are with the passenger and his family and we thank everyone who provided medical support.'
