Keir Starmer's globe-trotting does not benefit us, voters believe
by FRANCINE WOLFISZ · Mail OnlineSir Keir Starmer is globe-trotting too much and should spend more time in Britain fixing domestic problems, most voters believe.
A damning exclusive poll for the Daily Mail found that a majority think the Prime Minister has jetted off to too many overseas events and summits.
While 26 per cent say they think he is spending the right amount of time abroad, more than a third (36 per cent) say he should be in the UK more.
Only 4 per cent say he is spending too little time abroad.
The More In Common survey shows nearly half of voters (48 per cent) think his jaunts will either make no difference or be harmful to the UK.
Just 21 per cent say they will bring benefits.
He undertakes trips to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next month and Abu Dhabi.
'The public has become convinced that Britain often gets a bad deal from foreign engagements,' said Luke Tryl from More In Common.
