Victim of vile Sex Education rapist Alexander Westwood speaks out
by TOM COTTERILL · Mail OnlineThe teenage victim of Sex Education rapist Alexander Westwood has demanded Netflix and the BBC look at 'who they hire' after the twisted predator was found guilty of carrying out dozens of sex crimes.
Westwood, 24, was convicted on all 26 counts at his Wolverhampton Crown Court trial over a series of sexual offences against women and children.
Police have since released a mugshot of the 'predatory and manipulative' fiend as he smirked at the camera after being arrested.
Jurors heard how the actor forced pupils in his drama class to recite Shakespeare naked and also engaged in nude role-play scenarios.
The court was told the Netflix actor - who also starred in BBC's Doctors - sexually assaulted one girl over a seven-year period.
Westwood had been a sexual predator from a child, with his criminality stretching back to when he was aged just 10 and his victims included two children and former pupils, the court heard.
Westwood, of Albrighton, Shropshire, was found guilty of all charges, including raping a teenager during acting classes, following a four week trial.
Speaking after the case, one of his victims, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said: 'I was one of his victims and I was just 16. I'd love for more details to be seen, because I want Netflix and the BBC to know who they hire[d].'
The court heard how Westwood also filmed one budding teen actress naked on his iPad and then tried to bill her family £18,000 for missing drama lessons after sexually abusing her.
He was described in court as a 'supreme manipulator' who was obsessed with sex and used his stardom to prey on his victims.
Westwood denied the charges, claiming in court he never did 'anything sexually inappropriate'.
But a jury of five women and seven men found him guilty of all charges following two days of deliberations after a trial lasting four weeks.
He will be sentenced in February by Judge Neil Chawla.
His trial heard how he sexually abused a girl multiple times as well as a boy, raped a teenage actress he was teaching and and abused other pupils.
The first charge relates to his tenth birthday as that is when the age of criminality begins in the UK.
Westwood, who was said have a 'fascination' with pornography, also forced a young girl to drink his urine and repeatedly abused her during a seven-year period.
Prosecutor Andrew Wallace previously told the court: 'Alexander Westwood is an actor. He is a supreme manipulator. All these charges have a common theme, of inappropriate touching and predatory behaviour.

Sex Education star 'sexually abused aspiring teenage actress before demanding £18k for drama lesson'
'The 10 indictments concerning a girl, the first charge is on the date of his tenth birthday - that is the date because there is not criminality before this age.'
The court heard one victim was 'forced to act out the most inappropriate scenes' while another was systematically abused as she pursued her dream of going to drama college.
Mr Wallace said: 'As fame beckons, he met two impressionable 16-year-olds and used his revered position to abuse them.'
The prosecutor said Westwood was a 'rotten apple' and his sexual offending became 'a habit, a lifestyle'.
Discussing one victim, he added: 'She had ambitions to be an actress. She arranged lessons with him and over the course of time the defendant was able to do the most despicable acts with her.'
Mr Wallace told jurors the abuse of a girl at a house in Walsall included vile actions which numbered more than the ten charges relating to her.
He added: 'If we were to list every instance, there would be hundreds of charges.'
One pupil accused him of sexual deviancy and controlling behaviour, with Westwood often telling her mother 'she should be admitted to a psychiatric hospital because she is going off the rails'.

Mr Wallace added: 'Then, when giving acting lessons, he again used this as an opportunity to touch his pupils inappropriately.
'These are schoolgirls we are talking about, teenagers. Imagine asking Dame Judi Dench to recite Hamlet naked - she would tell you where to go.'
Jurors heard how he wrote an apology to one victim, saying: 'I am sorry for acting in a predatory way.'
Westwood claimed his father made him write it and he did not mean 'predatory in a sexual way'.
Mr Wallace added: 'He wrote letters, in his own words, describing himself as predatory.
'He wrote to his victim, 'First and foremost I apologise' - now he is accusing her of being a liar.
'He continued, 'I apologise for being so irresponsible inconsiderate. I apologise for everything, I really do. I cannot imagine the effect it must have had on you'.'
One victim, who said she was raped by the star, was reduced to tears on the stand as she relived 'the hell' of her encounter with Westwood.

The young woman, who was one of the actor's drama pupils, told the court she was raped, sexually abused and violently assaulted by him.
She said: 'I did not realise it at the time but I was a victim of domestic abuse. He would get very angry and hold me down by my wrists - I would have to bite him just to get away from him.
'He would ask me for sex and, when I said no, would carry on. I would tell him I did not want to because I was not happy, but he would just ignore me.
'He would get angry and throw things - he would regularly pin me down by my wrists so I could not move.
'I would have to bite him to get him off me. He would lie, lie and lie. He told my mother I needed to be in a psychiatric hospital.'
The court heard also allegations of Westwood's controlling behaviour with those with whom he had sexual relationships.
In her evidence, the woman added: 'He phoned the police on me, and lied to them. I then saw on my CCTV in my house that he stole my cameras, which made me feel vulnerable.
'He raped me. I have had relationships since, I suffer with anxiety and have been treated for my mental health but I never have been so volatile as when I was with him.'
The mother of another teenage victim told how her daughter attended lessons at the actor's flat alone in 2021.
The teenager said she was forced to have sex during classes and filmed naked on Westwood's iPad.
Giving evidence, the mother said there was a contract which her daughter signed and with Westwood stipulating he would be paid £18,000 if she failed to attend lessons.
She said: 'My daughter had to have counselling after what he did to her in those lessons. I phoned the police to report what he had done to her.'
Westwood sexually assaulted and raped one pupil who described how he would hold her down by the wrists, forcing her to bite him to get away.
He also called the police on one of his victims whilst harassing her.
His victims watched on in horror as he continued to work on television and frequently boasted about having stars as friends on social media.
After parents reported Westwood to the police, so did the college he was teaching at, and from his first police interview he lied and blamed the victims.
Mr Wallace told the court: 'Alexander Westwood is a supreme manipulator.
'All these charges have a common theme, of inappropriate touching and predatory behaviour.'
Instead of pleading guilty to the raft of sexual abuse and rape charges the actor lied to the bitter end, forcing his victims the horrific ordeal of facing him in court.
After cross-examination by Westwood's lawyer James Bloomer KC, several of the young women giving evidence against him left the court in floods of tears.
Westwood looked on from the dock, showing no emotion.
Westwood, whose other credits include action film Outlawed, thriller Angel City and short Leaper, will be sentenced at the same court next year.
The BBC and Netflix has been approached for comment by MailOnline.
