Perfume stolen as thieves raid Prudhoe Boots store

The Boots store on in Prudhoe, Northumberland, was targeted early on Wednesday morning. Police say someone smashed a window at the Front Street shop before going inside and helping themselves to fragrances.
The thief then left the scene. The shop's window was later boarded-up.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Just after 5.30am yesterday (Wednesday), we received a report of burglary at a premises on Front Street, Prudhoe.
“It was reported that an offender smashed a window to gain entry to the premises before stealing a quantity of perfume. They then left the scene. Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact us."
Quote crime reference number 131354C/24 when contacting police.
