Police appeal to find missing Whitley Bay teenager Reece Lane, 15

by · ChronicleLive

A Whiltey Bay teenager has been missing for more than 24 hours - and police have now appealed for help to find him.

Reece Lane, 15, was last seen in the Chestnut Avenue area at 10.30am on Monday November 18 - and he has not been seen since. Both Reece's family and the police are increasingly concerned about his safety.

Officers from Northumbria Police are now calling on anyone who knows where Reece may be to contact them. The teenager is known to frequent the Marden Quarry and Cullercoats areas. He is 5ft 6ins, of medium build, and has mousey hair.

His hair is long on top and shaven at the sides, and he was last seen wearing a red hoody - with a tear in its left pocket - along with black Nike jogging bottoms and black Adidas trainers. He is also believed to be wearing a dark blue fleece top underneath.

Reece, or anyone who knows where he might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the force’s website. For those who are unable to do so, call 101.
