Gateshead burglary sees police appeal for information after large TV and other tech is stolen
by Owen Younger · ChronicleLiveA Gateshead burglary has led to police appealing for information after a large TV and other tech was stolen from a property. At around 7.30am on Wednesday, November 6, police received a report of a burglary at an address on Charlton Walk.
The incident is believed to have taken place at any time from the evening of the day before. Officers attended, where a large TV, a wallet, a mobile phone and a PS5 games console were all seen to have been stolen.
Since the incident was reported to police, officers have been carrying out enquiries to gain a better understanding of the circumstances and locate those responsible. Now, the officers involved in the investigation have issued an appeal to the public for any information in relation to the report.
They are primarily interested to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at that time.
Anyone with information can send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media or use the live chat function on the website here.
For those unable to contact the Force via those ways, call 101 and quote the crime reference number 131581Q/24.
