(Old Fold Gateshead) Ray. Passed away peacefully in hospital on September 13th aged 83 years. A loving dad of Carol, Iris, Raymond and Brian, a very dear father in law to Bobby, a devoted grandad, great grandad and great great grandad also a dearest brother to Anne the late Iris and John and a very good friend to many. Betty CESSFORD (Slee)

(Slee) Betty passed away peacefully with her daughter Lesley by her side on Thursday 5th September 2024 at Briardene Care Home, aged 94 years. Betty, beloved wife of Dick (deceased), loving Mum to Lesley and son-in-law Martin and an extremely proud Nana to Jamie and Sammy and Step-Nana to Amy and Alice. A dear and loyal friend to all who knew her. Betty will be forever loved and missed by all her family and friends. Many people will remember Betty as running the Saturday morning coffee mornings at St Andrew's Church and raising funds for local charities, including Marie Curie. The funeral service will take place at St Andrew's Church, Newgate Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 5SS, on Monday 30th September 2024 at 12.15pm. All are welcome to the service and then for refreshments in St Andrew's Church Hall. As Betty enjoyed life to the fullest, please help make her funeral a big celebration. Betty did not like black, so please wear comfortable, bright clothes. Family flowers only please. Mary CLARK

(Longhoughton) Peacefully on 9th September 2024 aged 85 years. Mary, beloved wife of Alan, loving and devoted Mam of Raymond and Rosemary also Mother-in-Law to Jane. Mary will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. At Mary's request a private family service will be held.

Robert "Bob" CONDREN

(Ponteland) Passed away peacefully at home with his girls by his side on 7th September 2024 aged 73 years. Loving husband of Sharon and much loved dad of Emilia. Lawrence (also known as Larry and Lol) DIXON

(also known as Larry and Lol) 01/02/1940 - 11/09/2024 (Deckham). Lol passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a valiant battle against cancer aged 84 years. Much loved husband to Doreen, father to lan, Julie and Gary, granda to Libby and also father-in-law to Darrell, Brenda and Debbie. A great friend to many and a fabulous singer who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A celebration of life to be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Monday 30th September at 12 noon. (Bill Quay) Peacefully at Fellingate Care Home on 10th September 2024, aged 91 years. Jim, dearly loved Husband of the late Mary, nee Curry. (Gosforth) Formerly of Bedlington Peacefully in hospital on Sunday 8th September 2024 aged 87 years Veronica (Vera nee Robinson). Beloved Wife of the late Norman, Much Loved Mam of Ian, Andrew and Natalie, Dear Sister of Sally, Jimmy and Sister-in-law of Pat, Dearest Aunty and Godmother of Suzanne. Foster HOOPER (Chick)

(Chick) 27th August 1945 - 7th September 2024 (Cramlington) Passed away peacefully after a short battle with Cancer, aged 79 years. Loving partner of Nimm. Also brother to John and Melvin. His wit and humour will be missed by all that knew him. Rest peacefully. A private cremation will take place. Passed away peacefully in St. Cuthbert's Hospice on 2nd September 2024, aged 61 years. A beloved daughter of Margaret & Colin Rowe, much loved sister of Les and sister in law of Julie and Emma, dear aunt of Stephanie, Ashleigh, Katie, Stephen.
