Search for missing woman who was last seen in Washington Village close to The Galleries shopping centre
Officers and family members are growning increasingly concerned her welfare and are now appealing for the public's help to locate her
by Nicole Goodwin · ChronicleLivePolice have issued a public appeal in the search for a missing woman who was last seen near a North East shopping centre.
Leah Rumney, also known as Leah Wilson, was last seen in the Washington Village area, close to the Galleries Shopping Centre, at about 9.30am today (Tuesday). Officers and family members are growing increasingly concerned her welfare and are now appealing for the public's help to locate her.
Anyone with information on Leah's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
Leah is described as a white female, of medium build and about 5ft. She is believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit and a red coat.
Leah, or anyone who knows where she might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the force’s website.
