Cheryl supported by Girls Aloud stars as she attends Liam Payne's funeral

A month on from his death, after the 31-year-old fell from the third floor of a Buenos Aires hotel, a whole host of stars gathered in Buckinghamshire for his funeral. Cheryl, who had son Bear with Liam in 2017, was joined by fellow Girls Aloud members Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh as she arrived for the service, to join mourners like Liam's One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Simon Cowell and DJs Scott Mills and Jordan North.
Liam's girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who he had been holidaying with in Argentina, was also in attendance at the funeral, as Liam's coffin arrived on a horse drawn carriage, adorned with floral tributes spelling out the words 'Son' and 'Daddy.'
Paying tribute to Liam days after his death, ex Cheryl issued a powerful statement on Instagram, writing: "Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our 7 year old son. A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again."
The 41-year-old continued: "What is troubling my spirit the most is that one day Bear will have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation we have seen in the past two days. It is breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in his future.
"I am begging you to consider what use some of these reports are serving, other than to cause further harm to everyone left behind picking up the pieces. Before you leave comments or make videos, ask yourself if you would like your own child or family to read them.
Clearly attacking some of the intrusive coverage surrounding Liam's death, she ended her statement: "Please give Liam the little dignity he has left in the wake of his death to rest in some peace at last."
