Liam Payne made emotional final post about son Bear months before his death

Liam Payne made a moving final post about son Bear just months before his death at a hotel in Argentina at the age of just 31 shocked the world on Wednesday night, in which the singer shared a photo of the now seven-year-old looking up at a huge billboard of him.

Fans and fellow musicians across were left heartbroken when news broke just before 10.30pm UK time that Liam had died after falling from his room on the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel in the Argentinian capital of Casa Sur. Police, firefighters and ambulances were seen outside of a hotel building after Liam's body was body found on an internal patio.

Liam is reported to have fallen fell from around 13 or 14 metres and suffered "very serious injuries incompatible with life." In a statement, the local ambulance manager told TN: "At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel.

"At 17.11 a SAME team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group. Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation."

Tributes to Liam poured in from across the globe, as many people expressed their condolences for Bear, the now seven-year-old child who Liam had with ex Cheryl, after they got together in 2016. And, in the hours that followed Liam's death, many fans remembered the last post Liam made about his son.

When he turned 31 a few months ago, Liam spoke about Bear in an Instagram video when he told his followers: "I didn't get any dad socks yet though. I'm going to speak to my son in a little bit which I'm really excited about. Bless him. He's getting so big now. He's a big boy and he looks like a mini me. As if we needed any more me in the world."

Before that, Liam posted a rare photo of Bear on his social media, with the picture showing the youngster looking up at a billboard promoting the imminent release of one of Liam's single's, Teardrops. Liam captioned the post: "I want to be on a billboard one day Daddy"
