Police release image in search for man after Grey Street burglary

Police are appealing to speak to a man in relation to a reported Grey Street burglary.

The incident is reported to have taken place in Newcastle city centre at around 3.30am on Friday November 15. An offender is understood to have forced their way into the premises and then stole a quantity of money from the till before leaving on foot.

Northumbria Police officers have now identified a man they wish to speak to in connection with this. He is believed to have been in the area at the time.

The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact police by sending a direct message on social media or by using the live chat function or report forms on the force's website. Members of the public can also call 101. The crime reference number is 135466T/24.
