Tiverton High School is PROUD to show the community their school.

Despite a wet evening the community turned out in droves to the annual year six open evening on Tuesday, September 8.

There were smiles all around as families visited departments, experienced a variety of activities, and met staff members.

Students across all year groups confidently led conversations about subjects and the new school values and vision.

Deputy head Fay Crellen said: “It was clear to see students and staff were proud of THS and the opportunities studying here provides.

“An inclusive school with much to offer, families enjoyed a presentation by Sammy Crook, headteacher, and contributions by head boy and girl. An insight into the lives of the current youngest members of the school helped those still in primary school understand what moving ‘up and onwards’ was like.

“We know how important choosing a secondary school is for families. It was a wonderful Open Evening; the school was thriving and bustling with inquisitive young people and their families. The school will also open its doors for small group tours during the school day before applications close.

“We look forward to welcoming new students to our school community.”
