Driver who entered UK illegally found with cash and 'cocaine' at Devon petrol station

A wanted driver was stopped by police near Chudleigh on Tuesday (November 5). The force said the driver was wanted by the UK Border Force for illegal entry into the country in 2021.

Officers searched the Ford car they were driving and found a large quantity of cash and cocaine. The driver was also uninsured and had no valid licence.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a post on X: "Ford stopped near #Chudleigh on Tuesday - driver uninsured, no licence and found to be wanted by @UKBorder for illegal entry to the UK in 2021.

"When searched a large quantity of cash and suspected cocaine was located. Vehicle seized and driver arrested."
