The incident occurred on the evening of October 7, near the bus stop at Thandabin Village, on Pyay Road in Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region.

"It happened right in front of my eyes. The vehicle hit a power pole, then crashed into a fence in front of a nearby house. Power lines were falling, almost hitting us, so we had to run," said one eyewitness.
