Gunmen attack Cho Cho Yadanar gold shop owner in Magway and steal gold jewelry
by EMG · Eleven Media Group Co., LtdThe Cho Cho Yadanar gold shop, located on Mae Htee Road, west of Thukhita Road, Magway Town, Magway Region, was robbed of some gold jewelry after owner of the gold shop was shot with a gun on the afternoon of November 28, initial report said.
Two men entered the shop and demanded the owner to hand over the gold jewelry. They then shot the shop owner, U Htun Htun Oo, with a gun, smashed the glass showcase in the shop with a hammer, and stole about 10 ticals of gold jewelry and fled. The two perpetrators fled on a motorcycle, it said.
The shop owner was injured near the upper left side of his neck and was taken to Magway General Hospital and is receiving treatment at the ear, nose, and throat ward. The relevant officials are investigating to arrest the perpetrators.
On November 25, at around 5 pm, a young man entered a clinic near the corner of Pyidawthar Road and Say Yone Road in Magway and attacked a doctor with a knife, resulting in the death of the doctor. The perpetrator was immediately arrested and a case has been opened in accordance with the law.
