Gardai launch search appeal for 13-year-old missing for over one week

Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a Westmeath teenager who has been missing for over a week.

Fergus Harty, 13 years old, has been missing from his home in Ballymore, Westmeath, since November 19.

Fergus is described as being approximately five foot five inches in height, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing a grey tracksuit, black puffer jacket and black baseball cap.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact authorities.

A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 13-year-old Fergus Harty, who is reported missing from his home in Ballymore, Co. Westmeath, since 19 November."

They added: "Anyone with information on Fergus’s whereabouts is asked to contact Athlone Garda Station on 090 649 2600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
