Dublin Bay North general election 2024 results in full

by · Irish Mirror

People across Ireland went to the polls on Friday to vote in the 2024 General Election.

A lot has changed since we last went to the polls nearly five years ago. We have survived a global pandemic, saw Donald Trump re-elected US President and watched as two wars broke out.

Another thing that has changed since you last voted in 2020 is the redrawing of several Dáil constituencies. You might have voted in a new area or may even have more or fewer TDs representing your constituency.

There were five seats up for grabs in Dublin Bay North, one of the 43 constituencies being contested across the country. Outgoing TDs were: Denise Mitchell (Sinn Fein), Cian O'Callaghan (SD), Aodhán Ó Ríordáin (Irish Labour Party), Sean Haughey (FF) and Richard Bruton (FG). Only Denise Mitchell and Cian O'Callaghan ran for re-election.

Polls closed at 10pm on Friday, November 29 - with counting taking place from 9am on Saturday. You can see full results for the constituency and the rest of the country in the interactive widget below, which will update once the count has been declared.
