Dublin Fingal East general election 2024 results in full
by Alistair Bushe · Irish MirrorPeople across Ireland went to the polls on Friday to vote in the 2024 General Election.
A lot has changed since we last went to the polls nearly five years ago. We have survived a global pandemic, saw Donald Trump re-elected US President and watched as two wars broke out.
Another thing that has changed since you last voted in 2020 is the redrawing of several Dáil constituencies. You might have voted in a new area or may even have more or fewer TDs representing your constituency.
There were three seats up for grabs in Dublin Fingal East, a new constituency, with the current five-seater Dublin Fingal having been split into Dublin Fingal West and Dublin Fingal East. Sitting TDs, Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien (FF), Fine Gael's Alan Farrell and Labour's Duncan Smith, stood in Fingal East.
Polls closed at 10pm on Friday, November 29 - with counting taking place from 9am on Saturday. You can see full results for the constituency and the rest of the country in the interactive widget below, which will update once the count has been declared.
