Gardaí 'concerned for wellbeing' of missing Dublin teenager

Gardaí are concerned for the wellbeing of a Dublin teenager who has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

Daniel Lynch, who is 16 years old, was reported missing from his home in Cabra, Dublin 7 on Sunday November 24 at approximately 12.30pm. It is believed that Daniel may have travelled to the Maynooth area of Kildare, or the Ashtown area of Dublin.

Daniel is described as being approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen, Daniel was wearing a black tracksuit, a grey Zavetti Canada coat with black fur on the hood, and black shoes.

Gardaí and Daniel’s family are concerned for his wellbeing and have appealed for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact authorities.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Daniel Lynch, who is reported as missing from his home in Cabra, Dublin 7 since Sunday, 24 November at approximately 12.30pm.”

They added: “Anyone with any information on Daniel's whereabouts is asked to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on (01) 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
