The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has warned the product 'should not be used'

A safety issue has been identified with a children’s car pillow seat belt that is sold on Amazon.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission warned that the Qchomee Kids Car Travel Pillow Car Seat Belt Cushion sold on Amazon is not a safety restraint and should not be used.

The brand is Qchomee. The type/number of the model is Kids Travel Pillow47. The batch number and bar code are unknown.

The product was sold online through Amazon. There are approximately 13 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission advised any customers who purchased one of these products, to “please stop use immediately”.

They added: “You may wish to contact Amazon to see if there are any remedies available to you. This can be done via your user account on Amazon.”
