Down forest park sealed off after body found as investigation launched

The PSNI are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the death following the grim find at Hillsborough Forest Park.
The park has been sealed off with reports of a large police presence in the area.
No details regarding the death have been established yet, including the gender of the person, Belfast Live reports.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are examining the circumstances surrounding a body which was discovered in Hillsborough Forest Park on Thursday evening, 12 December.
"The circumstances of the individual’s death are as yet unknown and will be subject to investigation. Further information will be provided if and when appropriate."
