Southbound lane of State Highway 6 reopened following crash

The southbound lane of State Highway 6 (Garston-Athol Highway) in Nokomai, Southland was briefly closed following a crash.

The crash, involving a car and a cyclist, was reported at 12.10pm.

The cyclist is reported to have serious injuries.

The road has since reopened.

Traffic management is in place. Motorists are advised to expect delays.
