Child struck by vehicle in Henderson driveway in critical condition - investigation underway

A child is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in a driveway in the Auckland suburb of Henderson this afternoon.

Police said the accident took place at Alan Avenue about 3.30pm.

The child has been taken to Starship Hospital and an investigation is underway.

The police Serious Crash Unit is also examining the scene.
