Crews fight large house fire on Auckland's North Shore

Ten fire appliances and crews have been working to extinguish a house fire in Castor Bay on the North Shore of Auckland

Fire and Emergency were called to Beach Road just before 5am on Monday and found the house well ablaze.

No-one was hurt, and all people in the house are accounted for.

People were asked to avoid the area.
