Firefighters working to put out blaze in bushy area of Mount Cook
· RNZWellington firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze in a bushy area of Mount Cook.
Three fire trucks responded to the scrub fire about 2.20pm on Thursday at Bell Road, which borders the Prince of Wales Park.
Fire and Emergency said no homes were threatened and there have been no reports of injuries.
