Fallen tree on A92 caused more than two hours of delays for Glenrothes drivers

A fallen tree caused more than two hours of delays on the A92 in Glenrothes this morning.

The carriageway was restricted in both directions shortly after 9.30am as police controlled traffic in the area.

Data from Google Maps showed heavy traffic between the Preston Roundabout and the Tullis Russell Roundabout.

The road was clear by 11.37am.

An update from Amey read: “The tree has been cut back and removed from the carriageway.

“Both lanes are now clear.”
