The CBSE National Adolescent Summit 2024, focusing on life skills, mental health, safety, and well-being, will be held on December 20–21 at National Bal Bhawan, Delhi.
The summit aims to bring together students and educators from affiliated schools to discuss critical issues, share best practices, and foster a dialogue on adolescent development.
Aligned with the NEP 2020 vision, the summit will prioritise life skills, mental health awareness, and safe learning environments. It seeks to:
- Enhance student development through best practices in adolescent well-being.
- Integrate counselling and safety into the school ecosystem.
- Address psycho-social challenges faced by adolescents.
- Strengthen collaboration between schools and families for positive mental health outcomes.
CBSE SUMMIT HIGHLIGHTS
Participants can expect an exciting lineup of activities:
- Health and wellness exhibition: Student delegates will showcase innovative health ideas.
- Yuva Sansad: A National Adolescent Well-being Parliament for meaningful dialogue.
- Utsav: A cultural showcase including painting competitions (Kalakriti), debating (Eloquence), classical dance (Tarang), and street theatre (Pathshala Nukkad Ki).
- Manovriti: Screening of short films created by students.
- Samvedna: Mentorship sessions with luminaries from diverse fields.
- Q-Smart: A high-energy National Health and Wellness Quiz.
CBSE SUMMIT PARTICIPATION DETAILS
Registrations will be accepted online only until November 30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each school can nominate four students (Classes 9 to 12) and one teacher (wellness or nodal counsellor).
There is no registration fee, but participants must cover their own travel and accommodation.

As seats are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Schools are also encouraged to submit a 1,000-word write-up with relevant photographs or video clips (if available), highlighting their efforts in promoting life skills, mental health, counselling, and well-being.
