The Moto G85 is a mid-range smartphone, launched at a starting price of Rs 17,999, but with premium features. From hardware to software, the smartphone screams premium. At the time of launch, Motorola stated that the Moto G85 received features akin to its Edge series. It sports a curved display, a sleek and light design and an impressive performance. It is also the first in the G-series to come with a Sony Lytia 600 camera sensor. With the Moto G85, the company has undoubtedly outdone itself, especially when it comes to display and design. While the launch price was impressive in itself, Flipkart is offering more discounts on the Moto G85.

During the Flipkart Big Shopping Utsav sale, the e-commerce website is selling the Moto G85 at Rs 16,999. Additionally, the sale will also be offering Rs 1,000 instant discount on Axis Credit Card. Moto G85 at big discount: 4 reasons to buy

- The Moto G85 5G is surprisingly light and features a slim design. The device has a vegan leather back panel, which offers a good grip and texture. It features a 6.7-inch pOLED curved-display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a peak brightness of 1600nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device's show-stopping feature is its curved display, similar to the high-end Moto Edge series. The display is vibrant and bright enough to use under direct sunlight.

- The Moto G85 is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen3 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. To push its limits, we ran several benchmark tests on the device. Results of the test are in our detailed review, but the long story short is that the phone offers a good general performance. The device shares a few advanced features from the premium Moto Edge series, including Smart Connect that helps you mirror your phone on any other device like laptop or desktop. The Moto G85 also offers some utility features like Family Space and Moto Unplugged.

- The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In just one charge, the Moto G85 is able to last an entire day. While the battery capacity is excellent, better charging speeds would have been nice. It took me 80 minutes to charge the phone from 0 per cent to 100 per cent.

- The Moto G85 is the first Moto G-series device to feature a Sony LYT-600 sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It has a rear dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Both the daylight and nightlight images are bright and vivid. Though the camera produces slightly over-saturated images, the overall result looks good and, in most cases, are also Instagram-ready. Look at the camera samples here. But there is one issue I faced while using the Moto G85: It has a slow shutter speed.
