Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Monday that Sainik schools will provide renewed momentum in guiding society and fostering student values such as discipline, patriotism, and courage. He made these remarks during the inauguration ceremony of Shri Bhawani Niketan Sainik School.

"Sainik schools don't just give bookish knowledge to students but also try to inculcate commitment towards values in them. Sainik schools instil values like discipline, patriotism and courage in their students," says Rajnath Singh

"The all-round development of the students' personalities due to these values naturally inspires them to take the country forward," the defence minister was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Rajnath Singh expressed his confidence that Sainik schools will play a key role in giving fresh momentum to efforts aimed at guiding society through the new education policy. Earlier in the event, Singh also planted a sapling at the newly established school.
