A huge well-known building in Bristol is up for auction with planning permission granted for an 18-bedroom HMO. The Community Workers Union (CWU) building on Church Road in Redfield is on the market with a guide price of £475,000 and an expected yearly revenue of £165,000 per annum.

The imposing corner property is arranged over three floors and is being sold with vacant possession. Planning has been granted to convert the property into an 18-bed, 13-bathroom investment block with an estimated rental income of £750 per month, per room, inclusive of bills.

The plans allow for the ground floor to be converted into a three bedroom flat and a four bedroom flat. Upstairs on the first floor is planned to be a six bedroom flat, with three rooms having en-suites, and the second floor a five bedroom flat with all bedrooms having their own bathroom.

The auction will take place online at 5.30pm on Wednesday, October 16.
