Searches for two missing people last seen in Nottinghamshire as police say they are 'concerned'

Have you seen Shay or Chanel?

Police are urgently looking to speak to people who have information about the whereabouts of two people after they went missing. Shay, whose last name has not been revealed by the police, is 16 years old and has been reported missing from the Hucknall area.

He was last seen at around 2.30pm on Friday, October 4. Shay is 6ft4in tall, of slim build and has light brown cropped hair. He is believed to be wearing a black jacket and black tracksuit bottoms and has taken his Suron electric bike with him.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Have you seen missing Shay 16? We are concerned for his safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen him.

"If you have seen Shay or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 153 of 5th October 2024." A woman is also missing from the Mapperley area.

Chanel, whose last name and age have not been shared, was last seen on Saturday, October 5, at around 7.30pm. She was wearing a grey cardigan, green shorts and a top.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Have you seen missing Chanel? We are concerned for her safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen her.

"If you have seen Chanel or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 101 of 6th October 2024."
