Police 'very concerned' for 76-year-old man missing from Long Eaton home
by Joshua Hartley · NottinghamshireLivePolice have launched an urgent appeal to find a man who they are "very concerned" for after he went missing. Derbyshire Police have appealed for help to find Michael from Long Eaton, who went missing from his home on Friday, December 13.
Michael, who is also known as Mick, was was last seen in the town around lunchtime on Friday. Appealing to the public on social media, a police spokesperson said: "We are urgently appealing for help finding Michael, who is missing from home in Long Eaton.
"He has not returned home and due to the cold weather, we are very concerned for his welfare. We want to hear from anyone who has seen him in the area at any point this afternoon or evening."
Mick was last seen wearing a tweed flat cap with badges on it, a dark brown or green fleece, black joggers, a light coloured t-shirt and black trainers. Police have said anyone with information should contact them immediately through the Derbyshire Police website, Facebook, Twitter/X, or 101, quoting incident 786 of December 13.
