Man suffers head injury as Bulwell attack by e-scooter rider reported

Officers have released an image of a teenager they would like to speak to about the incident

Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a teenager they would like to speak to in relation to an assault in Bulwell. The incident, where a man in his 30s was left with a head injury, happened on Rufford Walk at around 8pm on Monday, September 16.

The attacker was said to be riding a black e-scooter made by the brand PURE. The scooter was later recovered.

Police believe the man in the photograph may have information that could assist with their investigation. He is described as being black, aged 16-18, around 5ft 7ins tall, and of large build.

Detective Sergeant Nigel Malik, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Violence of this kind will not be tolerated and we are doing everything we can to track down those responsible for this incident. We are keen to speak to the individual pictured as we believe he may have vital information about what happened.”
