Cineworld confirms six more UK cinemas will be closing - full list

This follows a summer announcement made by Cineworld, which in July revealed closures at Glasgow Parkhead, Bedford, Loughborough, Yate, and Swindon Regent Circus.
These sites were closed in October as a measure to reduce costs. A newly released list includes more cinemas set to close, some as soon as this month.

The Weymouth branch is scheduled to shut its doors permanently on Monday, December 30. Operating approximately 100 locations nationwide, Cineworld has been concentrating on ensuring the long-term viability of its UK operations within its cost-saving initiatives, particularly aiming to bring rents at several UK sites down to market levels.
Javier Sotomayor, President of Cineworld International, confirmed that the business's restructuring is now complete, stating: "The successful completion of our Restructuring Plan, achieved with the crucial support of our landlords, protects thousands of jobs across the UK and provides us with the financial stability to continue investing in delivering extraordinary experiences for our valued customers."
