One TikTok user claims just two old pennies could make you a millionaire - and one of them is the most valuable to ever exist

Searching your home might just reveal hidden treasures, potentially turning up a long-lost collection of DVDs or even a bunch of rare coins that could be worth a small fortune. A TikTok user known as @thecoincollectoruk, who boasts a following of 129,000, claimed in a viral video that having just a couple of old pennies could turn you into a "millionaire".

In their post, @thecoincollectoruk emphasized: "These two old pennies can make you a millionaire." Detailing the specific pennies to look out for, the coin enthusiast said, "There are two different dates you must look out for on your old pennies. The first is a George 5th penny from 1933, there are thought to be less than 10 of these."

Further elaborating on the value of these old coins, they said: "One of them resold at auction for £127,248 and others in the £70,000 to £80,000 range. It's definitely the most valuable penny to ever exist."

The video then discusses a rare Queen Elizabeth penny from 1954. "There is only one of these known to have survived from a trial run of several hundreds according to the Royal Mint.", reports the Daily Record.

The collector pointed out. "This means the 1954 is also extremely rare penny, the last one sold in 1991 for £23,100. It's likely worth even more now with inflation accounted for." they continued.

Additionally, they highlighted an "MS 63 version of the coin which could be worth up to £60,000". Garnering huge interest, the video received over 4,000 likes and more than 400 comments.

One enthusiast commented, "Penny black is the most expensive penny," while another keenly interjected, "Hi sir I have this coin." Another added, "I have four of these."
