Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left excitedly declaring 'it's not a drill' as they spotted more famous faces in the audience. In recent weeks, the live studio audience has been stealing the spotlight from the dancing duos.

The popular BBC One dance competition returned on Saturday night, kicking off week four after a successful Movie Week special the previous weekend. The latest live show also saw the return of DIY SOS star Nick Knowles to the dancefloor, following an injury that forced him to miss the movie-themed special.

He had injured his knee during practice but was cleared to perform by the medical and physio teams, as announced by the BBC on Friday. Nick and his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk then performed their planned movie week routine, a Charleston to Rain On The Roof from the Paddington 2 soundtrack.

However, as the remaining 13 couples took to the stage, viewers were distracted by the presence of Ted Lasso star Trent Crimm in the audience. Taking to X, one fan exclaimed: "NOT A DRILL: TRENT CRIMM IS IN THE AUDIENCE! #Strictly."

" Another excited fan shared their enthusiasm online, posting: "Oh its Trent Crimm, The Independent in the front row #strictly.

" Echoing the sentiments of many fans, a tweet read: "TRENT CRIMM, THE INDEPENDENT NEXT TO HELEN SKELTON #strictly. " The show's competition intensified as Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec maintained their lead with a stunning score of 39 out of 40. They delivered a Charleston to Anne-Marie and Shania Twain's 'Unhealthy' and, filling the room with excitement, judge Motsi Mabuse exclaimed: "One word.

Fab-u-lous!" Shirley Ballas concurred with her fellow judge, stating: "What a way to end the show, I can't fault it. ".
