Urgent search for missing Scots man last seen at railway station four days ago

Jamie Gardiner, 47, has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday, October 2.

Police have launched an urgent search for a missing Scots man last seen at a railway station four days ago.

Jamie Gardiner has been missing since 2pm on Wednesday, October 2. The last sighting of the 47-year-old was at Renton train station in West Dunbartonshire.

He has not been seen or heard from since. Police say Jamie is believed to have contacts in Dumbarton and may have travelled there.

He is described as being 6ft 3in tall with brown receding hair and is of a slim build. He has a tattoo on the top of his left arm and on one of his calves. It is currently unknown what clothing he is wearing.

Anybody who may have information on Jamie's whereabouts is urged to contact police.

Inspector Ross Mooney said: “I would appeal to anyone with any information on Jamie’s whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible and I would appeal to Jamie himself, if you see this then please contact us to let us know you are safe and well.

“Please contact police on 101, quoting incident 3488 of 4, October 2024.”
