Detectives in Stirling have this week published CCTV images of two men they want speak with in connection with an assault in the city centre during the summer.

Officers have released the images of two men they believe may be able to assist with enquiries into an assault in the city’s Baker Street, which took place at around 10pm on Friday, July 26.

Investigators believe that the men pictured could hold information that will assist their ongoing investigation.

The first man is described as being white, of slim build, about 5-feet 11-inches tall, had short dark hair, was wearing glasses and wore a green jacket with goggles on the hood.

Police are looking to speak to these two men as their investigation in to an assault in Baker Street in July 2024 continues

The second man is described as white, being in his 40s, of heavy build, about 5-feet 9-inches tall, with very short grey hair and he was wearing a white top with a different coloured collar.

Detective Constable Rhianna Christie, of Forth Valley CID, said: “I would urge the men pictured, or anyone who recognises them, to contact the police.

“If you have any information that can assist with our investigation then please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 4239 of July 26, 2024.

“Alternatively, make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
