Police continue hunt for Alpha Romeo after four homes robbed in one day

Officers are appealing for information following a number of break-ins in the West Lothian area on Thursday, 3 October, 2024.

A property on Barn Place in Livingston was broken into between 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Jewellery was taken.

Between 3.30pm and 5.25pm a property on Anderson Green, also in Livingston, was broken into and jewellery and cash stolen.

A property on Blinkbonny Gardens in Breich was broken into between 4.30pm and 6.35pm. Cash and jewellery was taken.

Between 5pm and 6.50pm there was also a break-in on Redlands Court, East Whitburn, although nothing was taken.

Officers are treating these incidents as linked and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

A red Alfa Romeo car was seen in the area of the break-ins around the time and detectives are appealing for further information.

Detective Sergeant Keith Sinclair said: “There have been a number of break-ins in the West Lothian area recently and our investigation is focusing on these potentially being linked.

“I’d urge anyone with information, or who has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, to come forward. I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of a red Alfa Romeo vehicle in the area.”
