London-based restaurant Bacchanalia boasts what's arguably the city's poshest loo - a marble and gold-clad restroom that people can't wait to visit. The Greek and Mediterranean eatery in Mayfair, owned by billionaire Richard Caring, is awash with luxury, featuring a decor complete with marble statues, gold accents, and ancient art from famed auction houses Christie's and Sotheby's.

It also houses sculptures by Damien Hirst, including a striking winged lion and a mythical unicorn. With an interior believed to have cost a cool £70 million, it's no surprise that the facilities are equally lavish.

And on World Toilet Day, November 19, attention naturally turns toward such opulent conveniences. The TikTok channel @loos_of_london splurged £200 to critique these extravagant facilities, concluding that the investment was justified: "No expense has been spared. There are statues everywhere - but the loos have been created by the gods," they enthused.

Describing the lavatory's design, they shared: "The loos themselves have mirrored [...] doors in gold. Sublime. Inside you'll find an ornate light A green toilet, a loo brush, a sanitary bin and of course a coat hook. Star-embossed loo roll. Mosaic leaf walls. The sink area was giving [Harry Potter and the] Chamber of Secrets vibes. Antique gold taps and a very luxurious hand wash from a dispenser. There was also a matching hand lotion. Thick, disposable hand towels and a full length mirror. While this place is very expensive, the loos are extraordinary."

Another TikTok enthusiast, Lyla Shaikh, also paid a visit to the restroom and declared she had "never seen a bathroom this boujee." She added: "This might be the most stunning bathroom in London."

TikTok sensation Bbybeets described the restaurant's interior as "breathtaking", and confessed her "jaw was on the floor" when she entered. It's estimated that over 400,000 tiles were used to construct the women's bathrooms, creating an orchard greenery theme inspired by the Garden of Hesperides from Greek mythology, where golden apples were said to grow.

Meanwhile, the men's toilets feature high-gloss black toilets - a nod to Hades' underworld.

The entrance to the bathroom is a hefty wooden door that appears weighty as it swings open. The interior is vast, featuring plush stools and additional statues encircling a central hand washing area crafted from a large slab of marble.

Mirrors are strategically placed in every corner, and the wall is adorned with stunning mosaic tiles. A central column of mirrors, all gilded in gold, adds an extra touch of opulence.
