CCTV images from Celtic Park released after assaults during Old Firm clash

Cops have launched a probe into a series of assaults during the match at Celtic Park on September 1, where only home supporters were in attendance.

Police have released CCTV images of two football fans they are looking for after violent attacks during an Old Firm clash at Parkhead.

Cops have shared the photos following a series of assaults during the Scottish Premiership match against rivals Rangers, where only home supporters were in attendance.

The force wish to speak to the two men in connection with their probe into the incidents on Sunday, September 1.

The first man is described as white with shaved hair. He was wearing black sunglasses and a black top.

The second man is described as white with short dark hair. He was wearing a black jumper.

The third man is described as white with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark green Celtic top.

Constable Mark Barr, of the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit, said: “I would urge the males pictured, or anyone who has information relating to them, to make contact with us.

You should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1092 of September 1, 2024 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
