Dunscore Primary pupils help spread Fairtrade message with coffee afternoon

Dunscore youngsters helped to spread the Fairtrade message on Tuesday at a coffee afternoon held in the school for family and friends.

The event coincided with Fairtrade Fortnight, and the children did plenty of baking using Fairtrade ingredients and served them with Fairtrade tea and coffee to impressed visitors.

Dunscore became the first Fairtrade village in the region in 2019, and as a Fairtrade school, all the Dunscore children are aware how buying Fairtrade products helps people in developing countries.
