Cops investigate Perth attempted vehicle break-ins

A spate of Perth attempted vehicle break-ins are being investigated by police.

The incidents happened around 1.45am on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the Huntingtower Road area.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a red and black jacket, dark sports trousers and white trainers with red soles. He was also carrying a black rucksack.

Constable Logan Clarke said: "Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area.

"We would particularly like to speak to anyone with CCTV, dash-cam, or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation.

"I'd also urge residents to remain vigilant, ensure vehicles are securely locked, and remove any valuables to deter opportunistic thefts.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1728 of 16 November, 2024. Alternatively, those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
