Police launch appeal to help find 12-year-old boy missing from Alexandria

Ted Christie was last seen around 3.15pm today (October 3), near Christie Park in the town.

Police are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 12-year-old boy reported missing in Alexandria.

Ted Christie was last seen around 3.15pm on Thursday, 3 October, near Christie Park in the town.

He is described as around 4ft 8ins, of slim build with short brown, spiky hair. When last seen he was wearing a black Nike hoodie with a red logo, navy blue jeans and black crocs.

Inspector Kirsty Moore said: “It is important that we trace Ted as soon as possible to make sure he is safe and well.

“I am asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch with us immediately.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2352 of Thursday, 3 October, 2024.
