Joe Budden Addresses Rumors He's On Diddy's 'Freak Off' Tapes

by · HipHopDX

Joe Budden is making it loud and clear that he will not be spotted on any of Diddy‘s alleged ‘freak off’ tapes, should they ever see the light of day.

Amid his recent arrest, federal prosecutors in New York are accusing the embattled mogul of coercing women to have sex with male prostitutes for his own pleasure.

The three-count indictment claims the rap mogul used violence, drugs, threats and blackmail to force women into participating in these sex sessions, described as “freak offs,” which he would allegedly record and masturbate to.

Diddy and Budden had a brief working relationship in 2018, when the former courted the rapper-turned-host for his REVOLT TV network to host the now-defunct show, State Of The Culture.

During this time, Budden attended a few Diddy parties, leading to new rumors that he was at the “freak offs” as well. The rumors turned even more rampant when he coincidentally left for a vacation on the same day Diddy was arrested, leading people to believe he was “fleeing.”

On the latest episode of his eponymous podcast, however, he made it clear that was not the case.

After laughing off the notion he’s even high up enough on the food chain to get wind of a federal arrest ahead of time, Budden added: “For the last time, can y’all take me off the list of names that y’all think is on these tapes? Why are y’all so hell bent on putting n-ggas on these tapes? I ran the jokes long but I thought the joke was a joke because of who I be.

“Clearly it’s a new crop of people out there that don’t know who I be, so they like, ‘Oh he might be that.’ I ain’t. No more jokes. Even though I was a force in that world for like three weeks. They was ready to trick. They was offering vacays and shopping without an ounce of flirting.”

Due to Diddy’s relationships with many people in the entertainment industry, Joe Budden isn’t the only celebrity being accused of a more sinister involvement with him.

Over the weekend, eagle-eyed fans noticed that all of Usher’s posts on X had been wiped, leading to unfounded speculation that the move was somehow related to Puffy’s recent arrest.

After the commotion, Usher returned to the social media platform to set the record straight.

“Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! [laughing face] See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” he wrote on Sunday (September 22), plugging his Past Present Future Tour stop in Inglewood, California later that night.

Usher and Diddy have a relationship going back more than 30 years, with the Bad Boy boss taking the R&B legend under his wing in the 1990s when he was a teen.

The singer was also roped into the civil proceedings against Diddy’s alleged sex crimes earlier this year when producer Lil Rod alluded to him in his sexual assault against the Harlem-born mogul.

In the complaint, Rod claimed that Diddy “informed him that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with” an unnamed rapper, an unnamed R&B singer and Bad Boy producer Stevie J.

An appendix described the R&B singer as an artist who “performed at the Superbowl [sic] and had a successful Vegas residency,” while the rapper was “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj,” a thinly-veiled reference to Meek Mill.

Usher has yet to address the salacious claims, but Meek quickly shot them down and described the allegations as “sick.”
