50/50 raffle to support kids
by Chelsea Powrie · CastanetThe OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre has launched its annual Share-a-Smile 50/50 raffle, hoping to raise much-needed funds for its work supporting children with developmental challenges in the community.
From Nov. 1 to 30, British Columbians can all take part in the online fundraiser and enter for a chance to win a potential jackpot of $10,000.
Funds raised will help OSNS optimize the health and wellbeing of every child, youth and family they serve in the South Okanagan Similkameen.
"By purchasing a raffle ticket, supporters are investing in the future of children and youth," said Megan Windeler, community engagement lead, in a press release.
"We are thrilled to bring back the Share-a-Smile 50/50 raffle and give our community the chance to contribute in a fun and impactful way."
Tickets are now on sale until Nov. 30 at midnight, and the draw will be done on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.
