Connector traffic moving

The Okanagan Connector has reopened Thursday afternoon following a serious crash.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 97C were closed for a couple hours Thursday, causing major traffic delays.
One witness said a blue SUV and white pickup truck were involved in the crash, and that the driver of the SUV was driving into oncoming traffic, causing the collision.
A driver who was stuck in the backup says traffic is now getting through after the crash was cleared.
The condition of those involved in the crash is not known.

A crash on the Okanagan Connector has brought eastbound traffic to a standstill Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred between Brenda Mines and Trepanier roads some time after 2 p.m., blocking the eastbound lanes.
The severity of the crash is not known at this time, and it's not clear when the highway may reopen.
